Baltimore Caribbean Carnival Parade 2003

Caribbean American Association of  Baltimore and the Baltimore Caribbean Community, celebrates the 22nd anniversary of their carnival. Starting at Pimlico Race Track this parade of masqueraders gets lost in the sweet soca, steel pan and reggae rhythms.

Dressed in their very creative colorful costumes, it's bacchanal in the streets on the way to Druid Hill Park.
Meanwhile at the festival Caribbean cuisine awaits them in abundance. Soon the air is filled with the sounds of live performances of  soca and reggae at the band stand.
