The
Philadelphia Flower Show 2004 "Destination
Paradise."
This year the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society's, "Philadelphia Flower
Show" for 2004, took on what
I find to be a somewhat non-descript allure. This year's theme is "Destination Paradise."
As you enter the main display
there is a Polynesian presence, conjuring up a rain forest, with orchids nestled
around tall trees. The backdrop to
this was that of rock face openings carved of faces representing
Polynesian imagery. There was also Hawaiian musical entertainment adding
to the aura of this display. This show also featured Japanese "moribana" naturalistic
arrangements.
Horticultural Society, for the 2004 Philadelphia Flower Show was to present
a broad experi-ence for flower lovers. This create your own fantasy, if you
will, was a successful one.

the oldest (175 years old), largest, and most popular
of flower shows anywhere.
This show, also had a 100 booths marketplace of items for the garden from the practical
to the imaginative. Catering to your every garden fantasy.
